Pelvic & Heart Release

Pelvic & Heart Release

In-person somatic bodywork sessions

Intro
Pelvic & Heart Release is an in-person, trauma-informed bodywork session supporting the gentle softening of protective layers held in the pelvis and the heart.

Many women carry armour in these areas. This armour formed as a way to protect us from overwhelming experiences, difficult emotions, and unprocessed memories. While it once served us, over time it can limit the natural flow of life energy, sensation, and presence in the body.

This session offers a safe, grounded space to meet these layers with care, respect, and deep listening.

The essence of the work
Armour may be experienced as tension, numbness, disconnection, shallow breath, difficulty feeling pleasure or aliveness, or a sense of being slightly removed from oneself.

Pelvic & Heart Release invites the body to soften these holding patterns and to reconnect with its innate intelligence and natural capacity to heal. As the body feels met rather than pushed, life energy can begin to move more freely again.

This work supports the integration of parts of ourselves that were once protected, silenced, or held apart.

How we work
The session is guided by your body and nervous system.

The work may include soft, attentive touch, gentle pressure points, conscious breath, sound, and attuned presence. Every touch is an invitation, never a force. Your body leads, and I follow.

Emotional expression may arise naturally, or the process may remain quiet and subtle. All responses are welcome. There is no expectation to relive or explain anything.

Pelvis and heart
The pelvis and the heart are deeply interconnected.

The pelvis often holds early experiences, boundaries that were crossed, unexpressed emotion, and moments of freezing or contraction.
The heart may carry grief, vulnerability, unmet needs, and protective closing.

As these two centres begin to soften and reconnect, the body may experience greater coherence, safety, sensitivity, and presence.

Nature as a guide
I hold this work in the same way nature holds transformation, with patience, reverence, and trust in the body’s own timing.

Your body is part of the natural world. It knows how to release, rebalance, and renew, just as the earth knows how to thaw after winter. This session supports a remembering of your own natural rhythm.

Internal pelvic work (optional)
With your clear consent, and only if you feel ready, grounded, and safe, the session may include internal pelvic work.

The feminine sexual organs often hold deep physical and emotional imprints shaped by early experiences, social conditioning, and moments where boundaries were not fully honoured. These areas are sometimes overlooked or disconnected due to repression or taboo.

Internal work is always held with consent at every step, slow trauma-informed pacing, deep respect for boundaries, and presence and care.

This work is therapeutic, restorative, and deeply human. It supports the release of tension, numbness, pain, and emotional holding, and may help restore a natural sense of life force, self-love, and connection to feminine wisdom and intuition.

What women often experience
Each session is unique. Women may experience emotional release, softening, restored sensation, deeper breathing, increased presence, inner clarity, or a sense of coming home to themselves.

There is no right or expected way to experience this work.
